why 'kirbysphere'?

i am kirby. and this is my sphere :)

why does this website exist? why make a website?

first of all, because it's fun. it brings me joy. why do any hobby? this was the reason i started this website in 2022.

second of all, because most social media is increasingly addicting and not good for my life. also i hate seeing advertisements and i hate seeing generative ai text and images. i like customization, and i like having control and ownership over my digital spaces. i am on social media still to some extent, and there is good that can be done on there, but it doesn't really work for me personally (adhd, among other things), so i try not to have it be my primary online activity.

why are you annoying?

when i was a baby i used to scream full volume into my twin sisters ear while we were sleeping so it probably started there.

why do you have an faq page containing almost entirely questions nobody has ever asked you?

cuz i think its funny. come on its a little funny.
